Pop singer Dasha gave a performance in a statement pair of cowboy boots on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” Tuesday night.
Starting the new year in style, the singer performed in a pair of black over-the-knee cowboy boots, highlighting the western theme that has been popular over the past year. The footwear featured an exaggerated vamp that gave it a distinct edge, and purple embroidery crafted into a leaf design that glittered as she performed. The back of the silhouette contained a closed-back construction, while the rubber outsole was packed with an adequate amount of grip and traction to give her security as she performed.
As for her outfit, the singer kept the western theme going with a pair of light denim blue Daisy Dukes, and a matching cropped lace vest. Her dancers were dressed similarly, also wearing black cowboy boots with shiny purple embroidery and black leather versions of her outfit.
Dasha wasn’t the only performer on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest” that chose boots for the occasion. Singer-songwriter Kesha sported a pair of fire engine red over-the-knee boots for her respective performance as well. Those boots were crafted fine patent leather material, featured a triangular design in the upper and a stiletto heel that ranged between 3-to-4 inches in height.
Also this holiday season, Beyoncé donned a pair of custom crystal embellished Christian Louboutin for NFL Halftime performance that took place on Christmas Day. Characterized by their shimmery crystal design dispersed throughout, and a block heel that also likely measured between 3-to-4 inches in height and also western inspired to reflect her medley of songs from her latest album “Cowboy Carter.” Daughter Blue Ivy Carter performed alongside her in a pair of white patent leather boots from Akira that also included a chunky block heel of about 3 inches.
Boots are a go-to performers as they are stylish and provide enough protection to keep their feet and ankles safe as they are performing.
