The Superstar‘s reascension into the limelight for Adidas in 2025 is continuing with a “Double Wide” version of the classic sneaker as imagined by Pharrell.

The Pharrell x Adidas Superstar 92 has been officially announced through a campaign starring the Clipse and shot in Virginia Beach, the hometown for all three of Pharrell, Pusha T and No Malice (FKA Malice). The reimagined sneaker takes inspiration from the billowing proportions of the ’90s, and its snowboard boots as well as skate shoes that inform the thick padding around the ankle and the chunkier sole.

“Virginia” is tucked at the bottom of the shoe’s standard tongue tag, continuing the love paid to his home state under Pharrell’s tenure at Louis Vuitton.

For its debut, the Superstar 92 will be available in the model’s core black-and-white and white-and-black colorways. Each pair will come with three sets of laces, though, which will bring a pop of color to the otherwise monochrome looks.

While the Superstar has never disappeared, Adidas has given it a new push in 2025 that’s included a JJJJound “Made in Germany” collaboration as well as another transformation that’s seen the sneaker turn into a roller skate. The Superstar 92 is akin to the Campus 00s, another puffed up version of a retro model that blew up in no small part thanks to TikTok.

The Pharrell x Adidas Superstar 92 will release March 1 through Adidas’ website and select third-party retailers. Signups are also open now on the Confirmed app. Pricing is set at $200.
