Millie Bobby Brown went for gold in trendy metallic mules from Paris Texas on her 10th appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday.
The “Stranger Things” star paired a glitzy rainbow sequin midi halter dress with a pair of mirrored gold mules from celebrity favorite shoe brand, Paris Texas. The “Lidia” mules feature a shorter 70mm / 2.76-inch stiletto heel, a thick, tapered toe strap, open almond-toe, and reflective gold leather.
The Italian-made metallic sandals also come in silver and maroon, the latter which she recently wore at the London premiere of the “Electric State” with a stunning burgundy sequin Wiederhoeft gown.
Metallic shoes, especially in gold and silver tones, started to take over fashion in 2022. The style has continued to gain a consistent spot in designers’ collections since then. Several high-end labels like Bottega Veneta, Prada and Manolo Blahnik have included the shiny material in their runway shoes over the past couple months.
Popular metallic heeled styles include the $1,150 Valentino Garavani metallic leather stiletto pumps and the Jimmy Choo Ixia pumps, priced at $683.
This is not the first time the “Stranger Things” star has embraced the metallic shoe trend in recent memory. She wore a pair of gold strappy sandals under a custom ballet pink Louis Vuitton gown at the 2025 SAG Awards. The 21-year-old actor is somewhat of a style chameleon, often embracing glamourous styles on the red carpet, and trendy and modern ones elsewhere. Her Florence by Mills clothing line leans towards comfort, with its most-recent line inspired by athleisure.
The interview marked the actor’s 10th appearance on “The Tonight Show,” dating back to when she was 12 and rapped Nicki Minaj’s iconic “Monster” verse. In this episode, Brown and Fallon sang ’90s songs from Alanis Morissette, Natalie Imbruglia and Pearl jam for his game “Slay It, Don’t Spray It.”
