Mikey Madison showed off a chic all-black look while in attendance at the New York Film Critics Circle Awards held at Tao Downtown in New York City on Jan. 9. For the special occasion celebrating achievements in film, the “Anora” star wore a variation of a classic LBD with a pair of glossy black pumps.
Madison got dolled up in a fitted black dress with a hemline at mid-thigh. The sleeves featured ovular cutouts at their midpoints as well as slits at the end revealing her hands. The dress appeared to feature small hook closures down the center, fastened about midway and thus offering the look a deep V-neck. In a stylish wintery touch, the dress was paired with sheer black tights.
Madison kept it classic when it came down to shoes. She slid on a pair of black pumps with a patent finish, unifying her monochrome look. The shoes featured a triangular toe and stiletto heel as well as a low-cut upper leaving much of the top of the foot exposed. The patent finish offered Madison’s look an eye-catching gleam. Cardi B, Selena Gomez, Kerry Washington and more celebrities have rocked similar shoes in recent times.
At the National Board of Review Gala, Madison wore an off-the-shoulder Louis Vuitton dress with black heeled sandals. At the Golden Globes on Jan. 5, she modeled a gold Bottega Veneta gown which obscured her shoes, though her Ferragamo pumps were visible at the Golden Globes first-time nominee luncheon in December.
