Meghan Markle cozied up to combat the cold during a Family and Friends tubing event on day three of the 2025 Invictus Games yesterday in Whistler, B.C.
The “Suits” star reached for a pair of Sorel Joan of Arctic boots in tan. Retailing for $144, the snow boot style includes utilitarian waterproof suede uppers accompanied by faux-fur cuffs and lace-up closures. Sturdy outsoles made of vulcanized rubber shell and herringbone offered the shoe a non-slip feel. Metal hardware transitioned into 1/4-inch platform soles and stacked block heels.
The Sorel style is currently on sale, marked down from $240. The Joan of Arctic silhouette comes in a slew of colorways including “Black, Quarry,” “Fawn, Omega Taupe” and “Camel Brown, Black.” Markle wore the same style from Sorel on day two of the 2025 Invictus Games but in a gray hue. The boot choice was perfect for the terrain of British Columbia.
Simple and warm, Markle partnered her boots with a cream-colored turtleneck sweater and white jeans. Overtop, the Duchess of Sussex wore a black lengthy puffer jacket partnered with a black beanie and sunglasses.
When it comes to Markle’s footwear, some of her go-to favorite brands include Aquazzura, Stuart Weitzman, Manolo Blahnik and Jimmy Choo. She has made appearances in Manolo Blahnik’s sleek BB pumps and Aquazzura’s strappy Talk to Me sandals on various occasions over the years.
The member of the British royal family has also been seen in Saint Laurent loafers, Emme Parsons sandals and Birdies flats. The former actress has also showcased Valentino mules, bow-embellished Burberry pumps, and Chanel cap-toe slingback flats.
The 2025 Invictus Games will take place from Feb. 8th–16th in Whistler, B.C. The games, presented by ATCO and Boeing, will feature over 500 competitors from over 20 nations in an extraordinary display of skill and teamwork in both winter and core adaptive sports all set against the stunning backdrop of British Columbia.
