Meagan Good went with a peachy color scheme to attend the Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards in Los Angeles on Feb. 27, wearing a strapless gown with strappy sandals for the occasion.
The “Harlem” actress, who was styled by Philippe Uter for the event, showcased a high-low look with a coral-hued dress from Eman AlAjlan featuring a glittering fitted top, bubble mini skirt and flowing train.
The top featured columns of beading as well as a V-shaped cut out at the neckline. She wore her braids piled in a bun atop her head while her jewelry included a sparkling choker.
A pair of strappy sandals complemented Good’s dress. The shoes, which were a darker, more orangey hue than her dress, featured a pointed toe and tapered stiletto heel, bringing sharpness to her look.
The upper included a horizontal strap across the toes in addition to thinner straps intersecting in an X shape across the foot and coiling many times around the ankle. The actress appeared to be wearing the Rich Sandal from Jessica Rich, which retails for $175.
This footwear style is similar to the one Good wore to the Season 3 premiere of “Harlem” in January. Those sandals, featuring a reptilian pattern, also included a pointed toe and skinny straps wrapping around the ankle.
Strappy sandals have definitely been a part of Good’s footwear rotation lately. She showcased a gold metallic style from Flor de Maria when she attended a celebration for “Harlem” Season 3 earlier in February.
