Kate Hudson was promoting her new Netflix series “Running Point” all over NYC on Tuesday. She recently premiered the Netflix show, in which she stars, in a star-studded red carpet event where she went full on glam wearing a sparkling Roberto Cavalli gown and the perfect Jimmy Choo platform heels. (They were the company’s popular Max silhouette with its open-toe.)
To promote the show on “Good Morning America,” Hudson kept up the fashion while easing a little off the glam as is appropriate for a daytime talk show appearance. When Hudson arrived to the “Good Morning America” studios, she was wearing a satin trench coat over a sheer set from Etro. The set included a skirt featuring a ruched trim as well as a print.

For shoes, Hudson braved the outside elements with the popular Ona boot from Khaite. Her version was the taller knee-high boot. It is made of leather and includes a square pointed toe — this means while the toe is elongated as in pointed styles, it is cut off with a square silhouette. Though the heel is low at only about two inches, it is distinctive: it has the width of a block heel but the razor blade thinness of a stiletto.
Khaite sells the boot for $1,480. It is also available in a shorter style.

The boot is seasonally appropriate. Boots and other higher styles are often worn in colder months. Khaite is a popular brand and the Ona boot is one of their beloved products. Shay Mitchell notably wore the ankle version of the boot in December.
When Hudson got inside, she switched her footwear. Instead fo the boots, she wore a pair of slick patent leather slingback heels. The heels include a small silver buckles. They also sport a stiletto heel.
