Hoda Kotb is bidding farewell to “Today” in style. The longtime anchor for the NBC morning news program was celebrated by her coworkers at the New York City studio in Rockefeller Center on Jan. 10, her last day on the job.
Kotb, who is departing “Today” after 17 years to enter retirement, walked hand-in-hand with her co-anchor Savannah Guthrie to find a crowd cheering her on as she left the building; she was met with signs spelling out “We [heart] Hoda.” Kotb and Guthrie began co-anchoring together in 2018, becoming the show’s first all-female anchoring duo. Kotb also hosted “Today with Hoda and Jenna” alongside Jenna Bush, who will now continue the show with Craig Melvin.
Kotb looked pristine in a crisp white suit for her final day on the job; her blazer included a notch lapel and her pants had a wide-leg silhouette. For footwear, Kotb wore a pair of chic beige pumps with a pointed toe and stiletto heel, offering her outfit a chic, neutral foundation. Guthrie, meanwhile, also had on a pair of noteworthy pumps, a platform pair with a soaring heel. Her shoes had a rounded toe and a glossy patent finish.
Kotb slid on a pair of pointed-toe cream-colored pumps when she attended the Ralph Lauren Team USA celebration held in Paris during the Olympics this past summer. Not afraid to get adventurous with silhouettes, she wore a unique pair of black open-toe heels when she appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” alongside Guthrie in 2023.
