Janet Jackson looked chic in an elevated preppy look at British GQ and Christian Louboutin‘s Music and Style dinner in London on Thursday night.

The “All for You” hitmaker wore a black Thom Browne suit featuring a cropped jacket with a silk trim, a crisp white shirt, and loose-fitting trousers that hit above the ankle, revealing her Louboutin booties. Jackson accessorized her sleek ensemble with a rectangular black leather clutch purse and a selection of jewelry, including dangly silver earrings and multiple bracelets on both wrists.

Jackson reached for the renowned footwear brand’s black suede “Macademia” combat boots. The edgy style boasts a lace-up vamp and red rubber lug soles with thick block heels offering between 3 and 4 inches of height. Crocodile-embossed leather detailing throughout finishes off the glamourous design.

Retailing for $1,995, the “Macademia” is available to shop online via the brand’s website, as well as through high-end retailers such as Nordstrom and Bergdorf Goodman. The style is also offered in camel and chocolate brown versions.

The legendary performer took to Instagram to share her getup for the occasion, tagging both brands in the post. This isn’t the first time she’s worn Thom Browne this month. She was decked out in the designer at the brand’s fashion show in New York City on Feb. 14. Seated in the front row between icons Anna Wintour and Queen Latifah, she showed off another suit that she paired with towering platform longwing brogues in black and white. Jackson has been a fan of Thom Browne’s work for some time, often attending his star-studded presentations.

Jackson’s enduring career has seen her showcase some bold statement looks over the years. Memorably, the Grammy Award-winning pop singer sported baggy overalls paired with glossy black boots at the 1994 MTV Video Music Awards. Other fashion brands she’s supported in the past include Alexander McQueen, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, and Christian Siriano. When she’s not hitting the red carpet or a fancy event, you’re likely to find Jackson in sneaker styles, from Nike Air Jordans to Pumas to platform Filas.
