Bella Hadid has done it again. The supermodel stepped out in Los Angeles on Feb. 19 exuding an effortlessly cool aura wearing an athleisure look including a pair of distressed white Coach sneakers. While she’s a California girl, the shoes pay special tribute to New York.
The Orebella founder and Kin Euphorics co-founder was out and about in the city wearing a white monochrome ensemble that looked ready to support a casual jaunt around town or an athletic activity. She wore high waisted polka dot biker shorts with a fitted ribbed tank top, a staple wardrobe item. In addition to the polka dot pattern on her shorts, darker accents were added to her look with her large tote back and narrow sunglasses.
Maintaining her color scheme when it came to her footwear, Hadid laced up Coach’s Soho Sneaker In Distressed Leather over a pair of classic white crew socks. Intentionally designed to appear worn-in, the $175 sneaker is made with leather sourced from farms utilizing regenerative agricultural practices.
Per Coach’s website, the regenerative agricultural practices are “those that help maintain and rejuvenate grasslands, increase biological diversity, soil health and productivity, and could lead to increased carbon absorption.” Additionally, the shoe’s lining is crafted with 100% recycled polyester and the piping is made with 30% recycled rubber.
Coach shares that the shoe, available in many colors, “is inspired by the courageous free spirit of our hometown New York City and built to keep pace with life on the go.” In an ode to the city, the sneaker’s grooved rubber sole features a map of Manhattan. The “C” insignia of Coach can also be seen in multiple locations on the shoe.
