Cardi B partied hard during a visit to Fat Tuesday Bourbon 2 yesterday in New Orleans. The rapper visited the bar to promote her alcoholic whipped cream Whipshots.
For the festive occasion, the “Up” singer donned a pair of gladiator-style sandals. The chosen pair featured brown leather uppers accompanied by a multitude of thick straps that traveled up the length of her feet, stopping at the ankles.

Each strap was threaded through gold buckle closures that offered the silhouette an industrial, edgy vibe. Triangular open toes gave way to platform soles that lifted Cardi to new heights. Finally, lofty 5 to 6-inch stiletto heels rounded out the set, creating height and drama.
The musician’s footwear is very similar to a vintage silhouette from Vivienne Westwood circa spring 2009. The same gladiator sandal was worn by Sarah Jessica Parker on multiple occasions throughout the filming of the “Sex and the City 2” movie and most recently on “And Just Like That.” For those looking to steal Cardi’s style, similar archival silhouettes to her own can be shopped via 3rd party resale sights like eBay, The Real Real and Vestiaire Collective, among others.

On the outfit front, the “I Like It” rapper kept things casual and summery in a white baby tee with colorful graphics on the front partnered with a plaid asymmetrical skirt. Cardi accessorized with dainty white bows in her hair to match the white leather mini crocodile crossbody she carried. High-shine jewelry completed her look.
When it comes to shoes, Cardi B is renowned for her love of Christian Louboutin heels — which she’s coined as “bloody shoes” for their signature red soles. The rapper has also stepped out in a range of heeled sandals, boots and mules over the years, hailing from brands including Jimmy Choo, Jessica Rich and Bottega Veneta.
