Martha Stewart proved her “it girl” status as she appeared at three NYFW events on Thursday in gold leather pants and a pair of her favorite grey suede booties. Her busy night fittingly culminated with the launch of Veronica Beard’s spring 2025 “It Girl” collection party at People’s in Greenwich Village.

Marrying understated style and comfort, the domestic superstar paired trendy golden pants with a white shirt jacket, small white handbag and grey suede ankle booties with a one-inch circular heel. She wore these same practical boots during Paris Fashion Week in September.

A go-to shoe style for many, ankle boots are extremely versatile shoes that can feature a variety of heel styles. Boots that stop at the ankle can be practical, dressy, casual, minimal, showy and more. Chelsea boots, combat boots and booties are all types of ankle boots.

Stewart’s boots certainly were made for walking, as she had an in-demand, glamourous Thursday evening, also attending the Jimmy Choo dinner with Chloe Sevigny and Sandra Choi at Jean’s and the I Only Wear MAC event at the MAC Soho store with Julia Fox.

On the red carpet, the kitchen maven often wears neutral and metallic gold pointed-toe pumps and sandals from her favorite footwear designer, Manolo Blahnik, although she also wears Christian Louboutin, Celine and Valentino. Of the carpet, she is a fan of practical yet stylish boots and sneakers. In fact, Stewart has designed shoe collections for Skechers, Easy Spirit and Aerosoles, as well as her eponymous namesake QVC lines of clothing, kitchen supplies, gardening decor and home goods over the years.

Eponymous Veronica Beard founders Veronica Miele Beard and Veronica Swanson Beard hosted Stewart, Laura Harrier, Brianne Howey, Taylor Hill and other “It Girls” for cockatils and dinner to celebrate their spring 2025 collection, which guests wore looks and a statement bag from.

Attendees included influencers Charlotte Groeneveld, Grece Ghanem, florist Molly Ford, stylist Beverly Nguyen, poet Orion Carloto and Ceremonia founder Babba Rivera, all members of Veronica Beard’s newly launched VB Style Collective. The group showcased the versatility of the brand, each emphasizing the charisma, substance, and unique personal style that define a Veronica Beard It Girl.
